THE ROLE:
This role focuses on building and optimizing enterprise-grade BI systems, including data warehousing, ETL pipelines, architectures and Power BI reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth in data modeling, BI backend development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive data insights and decision-making

SKILLSET/EXPERTISE:

We are looking for candidates having 7+ years of experience with the following skill set:

  • 7+ years of experience in big data, data engineering, enterprise BI systems and data warehousing.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data factory, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and data modeling.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica or Talend
  • Experience of data warehousing modelling and design.
  • Strong background in performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Proven experience designing data warehouses, data marts, and ETL pipelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio).
  • Strong understanding of data integration and transformation processes
  • Strong SQL skills with in-depth experience on RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud BI/data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Programming / scripting experience and knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support.
  • Working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams.
  • Requires strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Produce efficient code based on requirements.
  • Designing and prototype applications Analyze business requirements and design end-to-end BI and reporting solutions.
  • Translate business logic into data models, ETL workflows, and Power BI dashboards.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations.
  • Load and maintain data in data stores, warehouses, and marts.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of BI platforms for internal/external users.
  • Provide ongoing technical support, training, and documentation for BI tools.
  • Develop automated reporting and reusable components for recurring analysis.
  • Manage version control, change tracking, and release documentation.
  • Conduct unit testing, validate output, and ensure data quality.
  • Support global reporting needs and help streamline business operations with data

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognized and reputable university. A strong academic background is essential.
