Responsibilities

  • Supervise incoming inspection of raw materials, verify sample pieces with drawings and quality standards, and check proper stacking in inventory.
  • Manage supplier quality by reporting local supplier rejections, coordinating 100% lot inspections, and handling exceptional release approvals when material is urgently required.
  • Prepare complete samples for new CKD model arrivals and oversee verification/testing of local and 3rd source parts during new parts development.
  • Evaluate vendors through weekly/monthly reports, calculate performance percentages, and incorporate MRN rejections into Vendor Evaluation Reports.
  • Lead testing activities by verifying dimensional/performance results, preparing reports, updating/testing formats, and making pass/reject decisions.
  • Collaborate with QMS and HQ to review standards, implement finalized testing procedures at IQC, train the team, and procure necessary equipment/tools.
  • Address supplier claims by discussing issues with 3rd source vendors and HQ, providing required information, and visiting manufacturers or assembly lines to resolve critical problems.
  • Perform testing support for other factories, prepare test reports, and carry out any additional duties assigned by HOD.
