We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst (L2 Level, 2-3 Years Experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, visualizing, and interpreting data to help drive business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop reports, and create interactive dashboards using BI tools like Power BI, or Looker. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SQL, and data modeling, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker,
  • etc.).
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Work with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and data visualization strategies.
  • Perform data modeling, data cleansing, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support business teams with ad hoc data analysis and predictive analytics.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities through data exploration and statistical analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define data requirements and improve data
  • infrastructure.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with company policies and regulations.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Data Analytics and Dashboard development.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI is a plus)
  • Knowledge and understanding of MS Fabric (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, and advanced data visualization techniques

Credentials:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (preferred but not mandatory).

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of BI tools and data manipulation.
  • Experience working with relational databases and NoSQL databases
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent storytelling skills to convey data insights effectively
  • Strong communication skills in English and teamwork skills for working in an agile environment.
  • Understanding of Azure cloud computing and MS Fabric
