About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Backend Developer
to join our team in Karachi. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in backend development and cloud technologies, who enjoys building scalable systems and integrating with enterprise platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that power complex applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using
    Python and Django
    .
  • Build and manage APIs, including
    RESTful APIs
    and integrations with
    Salesforce
    .
  • Architect, deploy, and optimize solutions on
    AWS
    , including services such as
    API Gateway
    ,
    Lambda
    ,
    RDS/Aurora
    ,
    S3
    , and
    CloudWatch
    .
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain documentation.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing backend services and integrations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years
    of backend development experience with Python and Django.
  • Strong understanding of
    AWS cloud services
    , including deployment and architecture best practices.
  • Experience with
    API Gateway
    ,
    REST API design
    , and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with
    Salesforce APIs and data models
    is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and ORMs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior developers.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, ECS/Fargate).
  • Experience with security best practices and performance tuning.
  • Previous experience working with distributed teams or remote stakeholders.
