Role Description

We're hiring a
Senior Accounts & Taxation Executive
to manage day-to-day financial operations, taxation, compliance, and documentation workflows. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Xero, local tax portals, and corporate banking. You'll lead the accounting cycle, ensure compliance, and mentor junior staff to maintain accuracy and timely reporting across all finance functions.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Documentation

  • Review and verify bills, invoices, credit card, and bank statements.
  • Maintain accurate records and audit-ready documentation (hard & soft copies).
  • Conduct regular documentation audits and ensure compliance readiness.

Client & Vendor Management

  • Process purchase orders, bills, and invoices.
  • Track receivables, monitor payables, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and oversee deposits, securities, and guarantees.

Taxation, Compliance & Payroll

  • Prepare and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax data.
  • Collaborate with HR and consultants for payroll tax reporting.
  • Ensure timely submissions on tax portals (FBR, SRB, PRA, etc.).
  • Liaise with tax advisors for filing, compliance, and review processes.

Tenders & Financial Instruments

  • Support tender documentation, bid securities, and pay orders.
  • Maintain tender logs and track issuance/cancellation cycles.

Leadership & Reporting

  • Supervise and train junior staff on documentation and e-portals.
  • Lead by example with ownership, accuracy, and independence.
  • Prepare and present weekly financial dashboards and reconciliations.
  • Draft quarterly, bi-annual, and annual P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Additional responsibility as assigned by the competent authority and prescribed in organizational policy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Xero Certified Advisor and advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Xero, MS Excel, and cloud-based finance tools.
  • Strong understanding of local tax regulations (IT sector preferred).
  • Knowledge of SBP banking instruments and remittance processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience supervising staff and managing finance workflows.
  • Ability to draft & review reports, letters, and agreements under direction.
