Production Engineer – Wood Division

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise wood machining operations including cutting, edge-banding, routing, lamination, drilling and CNC processing, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

* Monitor machine efficiency and downtime, ensuring preventive maintenance schedules are followed and escalations are addressed timely.

* Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste, improve cycle time, and increase throughput.

* Ensure strict compliance to production SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards across all wood processing stages.

* Analyze production data and KPIs (e.g., yield, rework, utilization) to drive data-based decision-making and performance enhancements.

* Coordinate with Design, SCM, Maintenance, and Assembly teams to resolve production bottlenecks and ensure smooth workflow.

* Train and guide operators and technicians on woodworking techniques, machine handling, and safety practices.

* Plan and execute daily production schedules in alignment with order priorities, material availability, and machine capacity.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field.

* 3–5 years of relevant experience in wooden furniture production.

* Strong understanding of solid wood, veneer, MDF, chipboard, and other wood materials.

* Hands-on experience with woodworking machinery and tools.

* Process-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
