Job Purpose:

The Finance Intern will support the Finance team in managing daily financial tasks, including record keeping, reconciliations, and reporting. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core finance operations, enabling the intern to gain practical knowledge and skills relevant to a career in finance and accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, invoices, and expense reports.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Help with bank reconciliations and monitoring accounts payable/receivable.
  • Conduct basic data entry and update financial databases.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Support the finance team in audits, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's student in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP/finance software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a professional environment.
