Role Description
We are looking for a
creative and detail-oriented Digital Planner & Journal Designer
to design and deliver high-quality digital products, such as:
- Digital travel planners and journals for iPad/GoodNotes
- Recipe journals and cookbooks
- Toddler and family planners
- Other themed lifestyle planners for our e-commerce platforms
The ideal candidate has experience in
digital stationery design
, understands
UI/UX for interactive PDFs or tablet apps
, and has a strong eye for aesthetics, layout, and typography.
Qualifications
- Digital Production and Project Management skills
- Content Management skills
- Writing skills for digital media
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience in digital media production is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Communications, or a related field preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Design aesthetically pleasing and functional planner/journal templates
- Create interactive PDF files optimized for GoodNotes, Notability, and similar apps
- Develop layouts, covers, tabs, and navigation for easy usability
- Customize planners to match brand style and target audience needs
- Provide source files and final, ready-to-sell versions in required formats
- Collaborate with our creative team on product concepts and features
- Research market trends and competitor products to ensure designs are competitive
Requirements
- Proven experience designing digital planners, journals, or similar stationery products
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, or Affinity Designer
- Knowledge of interactive PDF creation and linking for GoodNotes/Notability
- Strong typography, color theory, and layout skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Creative problem-solving skills and a sense of visual storytelling
- Bonus: Experience with Etsy product listing images and mockups
Qualification
- Portfolio showcasing digital planner/journal designs
- Experience in creating products for Etsy or similar marketplaces
- Understanding of lifestyle, travel, and family niches
