Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee
    daily warehouse operations
    , including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch.
  • Ensure
    inventory control and stock accuracy
    through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Design and implement
    warehouse layouts
    , storage systems, and material handling processes for optimal space utilization.
  • Maintain strict
    compliance
    with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage all
    inbound and outbound logistics
    to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and finished goods.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts
    with freight forwarders, transporters, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Optimize
    routes, transportation costs, and delivery schedules
    to improve cost efficiency and service performance.
  • Monitor key
    logistics KPIs
    (on-time delivery, transportation cost, lead time, etc.) and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate closely with
    procurement, production, and sales teams
    to align supply and demand requirements.
  • Develop and maintain
    real-time visibility
    of inventory across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Oversee
    returns management
    and
    reverse logistics
    processes.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate
    warehouse and logistics staff
    , conduct performance reviews, and implement development programs.
  • Enforce adherence to
    HSE standards
    and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Implement and promote
    continuous improvement initiatives
    using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Introduce
    automation and digital tools
    (e.g., WMS, barcoding, ERP integration) to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present
    periodic performance reports
    and improvement plans to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering
, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum
    5–6 years
    of experience in
    warehouse and logistics management
    , ideally within the
    chemical
    or
    FMCG
    industry.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge
    of
    chemical storage, handling, and safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in
    ERP (SAP)
    and
    Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Experience handling
    Dangerous Goods (DG)
    and ensuring regulatory compliance.
