About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Billing Specialist
to join our finance team. The Billing Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
  • Review contracts, purchase orders, and agreements to ensure proper billing terms.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer queries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all billing and payment transactions.
  • Collaborate with the finance, sales, and operations teams to streamline billing processes.
  • Generate regular reports on billing, collections, and revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing and accounts receivable.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Billing Specialist, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounts receivable principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
  • Advanced MS Excel and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in [industry, e.g., SaaS, healthcare, IT services, etc.].
  • Knowledge of international billing, tax compliance, or multi-currency transactions.
