from world-class brands like Pirelli, Continental and Michelin. With over 25 years of experience and multiple outlets across major cities in Pakistan (Lahore, Islamabad, etc.).
Role Description
The HR Manager will be the sole HR leader, responsible for establishing and managing all Human Resources functions across our Head Office and retail outlets. This pivotal role requires a hands-on generalist with strong knowledge of Pakistani labour law, a passion for people development and the ability to align HR strategy with business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment:
Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for all roles (sales associates, technical staff, administrative, and management), ensuring a constant pipeline of skilled candidates. - Onboarding:
Design and deliver a structured, effective onboarding program that introduces new hires to our product knowledge (tyres, rims) and customer service standards. - Workforce Planning:
Coordinate with Head Office and Store Managers to forecast staffing needs based on business growth and seasonal demands. - Policy Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and the Employee Handbook in compliance with relevant
Pakistani labour laws
(e.g., Factories Act, Shops and Establishments Ordinance). - Grievance Handling:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies. - Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR documentation (digital and physical). - Performance Management:
Implement and manage a performance appraisal system (annual/bi-annual) that drives goal alignment and continuous feedback across all departments. - Training:
Identify and coordinate training and development needs, particularly for
product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques
. - Culture & Engagement:
Design and execute initiatives to boost employee morale, engagement, and retention, fostering a positive, customer-centric, and high-performance culture. - Payroll & Benefits:
Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly payroll, including tracking attendance, leaves, overtime, and managing employee benefits/deductions. - Compensation:
Conduct internal and external benchmarking to ensure competitive and fair compensation structures. - HRIS:
Manage and utilize the HR Information System (HRIS) to automate processes and generate actionable HR metrics/reports for senior management.
Must have Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR concentration),
or a related field from an accredited university. - Experience:
Minimum
3-5 years of progressive HR experience
, with at least
2-3 years in an HR Generalist or Managerial role
. - Industry Experience:
Proven experience working in a
retail, automotive, or multi-site environment
is highly desirable. - Legal Knowledge:
Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of
Pakistani labour laws
and compliance requirements.
