Job description:

Job Title: SysOps Engineer

We are seeking a System and Operations Engineer to help build and maintain our office IT infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and implementing integrations that align with our operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and automation tools using industry best practices.
  • Manage and maintain a Proxmox-based virtual infrastructure.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Optimize systems for high availability, scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure requirements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot office IT infrastructure issues and ensure optimal performance and services uptime.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment processes and tooling.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve infrastructure and processes.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years
     of experience as a 
    SysOps
    , 
    TechOps Engineer
    , or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of 
    Linux Administration
    .
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as 
    Python
     and 
    Bash
    .
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as 
    Proxmox
     or 
    VMware
    .
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as 
    Jenkins
    , 
    GitLab CI/CD
    , or 
    CircleCI
    .
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and security principles.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like 
    Nagios, Prometheus
    , 
    Grafana
    , 
    ELK Stack
    , or similar.
  • Hands-on experience of managing office LAN/WAN/VLAN/Cameras using firewalls and switches independently.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with 
    Server Administration
     and 
    Troubleshooting
    .
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
