Prokem Impex is a growing trading and sourcing company, dedicated to providing high-quality raw materials to the pharmaceutical, industrial, and allied sectors. Our diverse portfolio includes active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, food and industrial chemicals, specialty raw materials and packaging products sourced from trusted international suppliers.

Role Description

We are looking for a dedicated sourcing professional to join our team at Prokem Impex. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and expanding our international supplier network, ensuring smooth sourcing of pharmaceutical raw materials while maintaining quality, compliance, and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen existing supplier relationships while developing new ones.
  • Source materials, request quotations, sampling and negotiate basic terms.
  • Follow up on shipments with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and proper documentation.
  • Coordinate effectively through Email, calls, WhatsApp and virtual meetings (Zoom/Teams).
  • Conduct market competition analysis using available data and other platforms to identify opportunities and competitive pricing.

Qualifications

  • Strong supplier evaluation and supplier management skills.
  • Existing contacts/relations with foreign suppliers of pharmaceutical raw materials (Mandatory).
  • Good communication and follow-up skills across digital platforms.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in pharma sourcing or international business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Business, or related field (preferred, not mandatory).
  • Must be proactive, organized, and target-oriented mindset.
