Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Summary:

The QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by identifying bugs, conducting tests, and verifying that products meet company standards before release. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, record, and document bugs or issues using appropriate tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and suggest improvements.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Report detailed testing results and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Tester or QA Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
