Job Purpose

To support efficient warehouse operations by overseeing receipt, storage, inventory accuracy, dispatches, and ensuring compliance with company policies to maintain smooth supply and distribution flow.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory & Stock Management

  • Monitor daily stock levels and ensure accurate system posting.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support monthly/quarterly physical inventory.
  • Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure FEFO/FIFO implementation for material movement.
  • Maintain safety stock levels and raise alerts for slow/fast-moving items.

2. Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
  • Ensure timely loading/unloading of vehicles as per dispatch plan.
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and planning for material availability.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout management.

3. Documentation & System Control

  • Verify GRNs, delivery notes, gate passes, and stock adjustment documents.
  • Ensure ERP/WMS data accuracy and timely posting.
  • Maintain records as per audit and compliance requirements.

4. Team Leadership

  • Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and forklift operators.
  • Plan duty rosters and monitor productivity.
  • Support training on SOPs, safety, and material handling.
  • Ensure discipline and resolve operational issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or relevant).
  • 3–5 years' warehouse experience, preferably in manufacturing/FMCG.
  • Knowledge of ERP/WMS.
