The Finance & Tax Manager will be responsible for managing the overall financial operations and taxation matters of the manufacturing unit. This includes accurate financial reporting, cost control, tax compliance, and strategic tax planning. The role requires strong expertise in handling manufacturing-related financial matters such as raw material costing, sales tax on goods, excise duties, and export/import taxation.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting, and forecasting to support manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production costing for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Ensure timely filing of income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax returns specific to manufacturing activities.
  • Handle sales tax input/output reconciliations on raw materials, machinery, and finished goods.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and industry-specific tax laws.
  • Represent the company before tax authorities, consultants, and auditors during audits, inquiries, and assessments.
  • Implement tax-efficient strategies to reduce liabilities while maintaining full compliance.
  • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing arrangements for procurement and operations.
  • Monitor funding requirements for imports, exports, and local procurement.
  • Identify and mitigate financial and tax risks in manufacturing operations.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance & tax team.
  • Provide financial insights and support management in decision-making related to expansion, pricing, and investment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Commerce.
  • Professional qualification Manadatory such as CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA (partly or fully qualified).
  • 7–10 years of experience in finance & taxation, with at least 3–5 years in the manufacturing industry at a managerial level.
  • Proven track record in tax planning, audits, and financial controls.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing sector taxation (sales tax, excise, customs, withholding taxes).
  • Expertise in costing, inventory management, and production accounting.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems .
  • Ability to manage tax audits and resolve complex tax issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120, Rs160,000.00 per month
