IT Support Officer typically involves providing technical assistance and support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. They act as a first point of contact for users, offering guidance and solutions to technical problems. This role also involves tasks like installing and configuring hardware and software, maintaining IT equipment, and documenting and tracking issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-level technical support: Addressing user inquiries and resolving issues related to hardware, software and network connectivity.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems: Diagnosing and fixing issues, often guiding users through step-by-step solutions.

Install and configure hardware and software: Setting up new systems and applications for users.

Maintain IT equipment and software: Ensuring systems are up-to-date and functioning properly.

Document and track issues: Using ticketing systems to manage and resolve user problems.

Maintain knowledge of IT systems and tools: Staying up-to-date on new technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

1–2 years in IT support or helpdesk role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40, Rs60,000.00 per month
