Overview

 (FSD) — a leading digital food-service marketplace and Unilever-backed platform — is seeking an 
Intermediate AWS Certified Cloud Engineer
 to join our global Tech Team.

As part of FSD's Cloud & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable AWS-based systems that power our high-traffic e-commerce platforms across the U.S. and Canada. This position is ideal for engineers who are AWS-certified and ready to take ownership of real-world production infrastructure in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage 
  AWS cloud infrastructure
   to support FSD's global e-commerce systems
• Implement and maintain 
  Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
   using 
  Terraform
   and 
  AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines
   (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated deployment
• Manage compute and storage services such as 
  EC2, ECS/Fargate, S3, CloudFront, and RDS
• Configure VPC networking
  , 
  security groups
  , and 
  IAM policies
   with a focus on best practices and compliance
• Implement 
  monitoring and alerting
   (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and respond proactively to incidents
• Automate workflows using 
  AWS CLI, Python, or Bash
• Work closely with the DevOps, Backend, and Data
   teams to ensure environment reliability and security
• Support 
  cost optimization
  , 
  scalability
  , and 
  high availability
   initiatives
• Maintain clear technical documentation and operational runbooks

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
   in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• 3–5 years
   of professional experience managing AWS cloud environments
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
   or 
  AWS Certified Developer – Associate
   (mandatory)
• Strong practical knowledge of:
• EC2, ECS/Fargate, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Route53, and Lambda
• VPC networking, NAT gateways, subnets, and security best practices
• Infrastructure automation via Terraform or CloudFormation
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Linux administration and shell scripting

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Professional-level AWS certification
   (Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional)
• Experience with 
  Docker / Kubernetes (EKS)
• Exposure to multi-region architecture
   and 
  Disaster Recovery planning
• Familiarity with serverless and event-driven
   architectures (Lambda, SNS, SQS)
• Hands-on experience with 
  AWS Cost Explorer
  , 
  Budgets
  , and billing analysis
• Strong understanding of 
  monitoring stacks
  , 
  security audits
  , and 
  compliance controls
