About the Role

We are looking for a
Shopify & WooCommerce Expert
to join our growing digital team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining
Shopify
and
WooCommerce
stores, ensuring seamless functionality, responsive design, and an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll be responsible for managing end-to-end eCommerce projects, integrating payment gateways, optimizing store performance, and implementing SEO and conversion-focused strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Shopify & WooCommerce Development

  • Design, build, and customize Shopify and WooCommerce stores based on client requirements.
  • Develop responsive and visually appealing eCommerce websites using modern UI/UX practices.
  • Implement and customize Shopify themes and WooCommerce templates.
  • Integrate third-party apps, plugins, and APIs to enhance site functionality.
  • Configure product listings, payment gateways, shipping methods, and tax settings.

Maintenance & Optimization

  • Perform regular updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
  • Optimize site speed, navigation, and checkout processes to maximize conversions.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

E-Commerce Strategy & SEO

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align eCommerce sites with digital marketing goals.
  • Implement on-page SEO best practices for product and category pages.
  • Track and analyze website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Recommend improvements to increase user engagement and sales.

Client Communication & Collaboration

  • Work closely with clients to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams for integrated project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience
    with
    Shopify
    and
    WooCommerce
    development.
  • Proficiency in
    HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify), and PHP (WordPress/WooCommerce)
    .
  • Experience with
    Shopify API, REST API, and custom plugin/theme development
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    eCommerce workflows, UI/UX, and conversion optimization
    .
  • Familiarity with
    SEO, Google Analytics, and performance tracking tools
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with
    Headless Shopify or integrations
    .
  • Knowledge of
    Figma/Adobe XD
    for design collaboration.
  • Understanding of
    digital marketing concepts
    and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
