Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Type: Full-Time

A growing renewable energy solutions company is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join its R&D team. This role will focus on prototyping, testing, market analysis, and global sourcing for advanced energy storage and inverter systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test prototypes for LFP battery packs and inverter systems.
  • Integrate BMS, wiring, and enclosure components.
  • Conduct performance, safety, and efficiency tests.
  • Analyze competing products in the market for features, pricing, and specifications.
  • Identify suppliers worldwide and manage component sourcing.
  • Prepare BOMs, wiring diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all designs are optimized for mass production with cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and quality control in mind.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with battery pack assembly and inverter testing.
  • Skills in wiring, soldering, troubleshooting, and product benchmarking.
  • Ability to source components from global suppliers.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and scalability considerations.
  • Must have CAD design skills (Fusion 360 / SolidWorks).
