Job Role
The Manager – Finance is responsible for establishing reliable financial reporting system within MAF Retail to monitor the progress of the organization's objectives and provide stakeholders with relevant financial data for the decision-making process.

Role Profile

  • Manage the consolidation, preparation, and reporting of annual budgets, forecasts, and corporate reports, ensuring alignment with MAF Retail's business objectives.
  • Assist function heads and managers with budget preparation, reporting, and strategic planning by providing timely financial reports, forecasts, and analysis.
  • Monitor budget compliance by developing and reviewing reports that highlight variances, potential issues, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Coordinate internal functions for data collection, particularly for capital project expenditures, ensuring timely preparation of project expense reports and forecasts.
  • Oversee the consolidation and review of financial data from all business units, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial policies and standards.
  • Support management and senior leadership by preparing and presenting financial reports, KPI analysis, and departmental performance insights.
  • Provide input for improving reporting processes, policies, and financial systems, suggesting enhancements to strengthen financial reporting standards.
  • Ensure timely monthly management reporting, communicate results to relevant stakeholders, and support benchmarking initiatives within the organization.

Requirements

  • MBA in Finance or Professional certifications such ACCA
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar finance role
  • At least 2+ years of experience in the retail industry (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, technical, and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
  • Proficiency in financial systems, budgeting tools, and data analysis
