Job Title: Draftsman – Interior Division

Job Summary:

The Draftsman (Interiors) will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings for interior design projects including kitchens, wardrobes, furniture layouts, and complete interior fit-outs. This role requires precision, technical understanding, and coordination with designers, visualizers, and site teams to ensure that every drawing aligns with approved concepts and site conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawing & Documentation
• Prepare detailed 2D working drawings, furniture details, joinery drawings, and layout plans.
• Convert conceptual sketches and design inputs from interior designers into accurate AutoCAD drawings.
• Prepare production drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture.
• Ensure all drawings meet Fincera's design and quality standards.
• Coordination with Design & Execution Teams
• Collaborate with interior designers and 3D visualizers to ensure accuracy between visuals and technical drawings.
• Work closely with project managers and site supervisors to resolve design discrepancies.
• Update drawings as per revisions or site measurements and communicate changes promptly.
• Site Measurement & Verification
• Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements before drafting or installation.
• Verify dimensions and layouts on-site to ensure alignment with design intent and actual construction.
• Coordinate with the site team to capture any on-ground changes for drawing updates.
• Material & Production Coordination
• Prepare detailed drawings for production and coordinate with vendors or carpentry teams.
• Specify material finishes, hardware details, and joinery systems within drawings.
• Maintain version control of all drawings for reference and documentation.
• Quality & Efficiency
• Ensure precision, clarity, and uniformity in all drawings.
• Maintain a structured file management system for easy access and reference.
• Deliver drawings on schedule to ensure smooth project progress.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency:

• AutoCAD – Expert level (mandatory)
• SketchUp – Basic understanding (advantageous)
• Microsoft Excel & Word – For documentation and quantity tracking
• Knowledge of modular systems, cabinetry details, joinery methods, and interior fittings
• Strong understanding of architectural symbols, layers, scales, and detailing

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or Drafting Technology.
• 2–3 years of experience in interior drafting (residential, commercial, or modular furniture projects).

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent coordination and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Time management and commitment to deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new design standards and software.

Work Schedule:

• (Monday–Saturday)
