About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SEO Strategist with deep expertise in technical, on-page, and off-page SEO to conduct an advanced audit of our current SEO practices, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations.

The role will involve both consultation and hands-on evaluation across multiple platforms including Webflow, Shopify, and WordPress.

You will be working closely with our in-house team to:

  • Review our SEO processes
  • Recommend optimizations
  • Provide best practices for content, backlinking, and SERP feature acquisition
  • Advise on automation tools and strategies for large-scale sites (10K+ pages)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive SEO audit covering technical, on-page, and off-page factors.
  • Evaluate backlinking strategies (free & paid) and recommend outreach approaches.
  • Develop a keyword strategy addressing keyword exhaustion, cannibalization, and secondary keyword mapping.
  • Advise on content scaling for large websites (10K+ articles/pages).
  • Optimize meta data (titles, descriptions, slugs, alt text) and page structure.
  • Recommend SERP feature optimization for AI Overview, featured snippets, and PAA boxes.
  • Review and improve competitor analysis workflows (using SEMrush and other tools).
  • Suggest SEO automation tools and integration into workflows.
  • Provide industry-specific SEO recommendations for service-based, e-commerce, SaaS, and local SEO projects.
  • Estimate time, effort, and ROI for ranking improvements and DA/PA growth.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of proven SEO experience with successful case studies.
  • Advanced knowledge of technical SEO and site architecture.
  • Proficiency in Webflow, Shopify, and WordPress SEO (plugins, limitations, and optimizations).
  • Strong command of tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
  • Experience with large-scale SEO (10K+ pages) and enterprise-level projects.
  • Proven ability to secure high-quality backlinks and evaluate their ROI.
  • Understanding of local SEO, lead-generation SEO, and e-commerce SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills for measuring SEO performance and forecasting results.
