Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Website Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites that align with our clients' business objectives and brand identities. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create responsive, user-friendly websites that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Design:

Build responsive, mobile-first websites using modern web technologies

Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins

Create landing pages optimized for conversion

Implement SEO best practices during development

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance

Client Collaboration:

Work directly with clients to understand their requirements and objectives

Translate business needs into technical solutions

Provide technical guidance and recommendations

Present development progress and gather feedback

Maintenance & Support:

Perform website updates, security patches, and maintenance

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Monitor website performance and implement improvements

Backup and restore websites as needed

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers

Participate in project planning and timeline estimation

Contribute to code reviews and best practice discussions

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Strong experience with WordPress development and customization
  • Knowledge of PHP and MySQL
  • Familiarity with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of SEO principles and implementation

Design & UX:

  • Eye for design and attention to detail
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Experience with design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)

Professional Skills:

  • 2+ years of web development experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Shopify)
  • Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, )
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, Divi)
  • Understanding of digital marketing concepts
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design
  • Experience in agency or client services environment
