About the Role

Intersys Ltd. is seeking a skilled
Application Security Tester
to ensure the security and integrity of our applications across the POS ecosystem. You will be responsible for performing penetration testing and security assessments on web, mobile (iOS/Android), APIs, and backend systems. You will work closely with the development and DevOps teams to identify vulnerabilities, mitigate risks, and enhance overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration testing on web, mobile apps, APIs, and backend services
  • Perform security code reviews and vulnerability assessments
  • Identify, document, and report security flaws with detailed remediation guidance
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure software development
  • Validate fixes and retest vulnerabilities
  • Stay updated with the latest security threats, tools, and practices

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Hands-on experience in
    Web, Mobile & API Security Testing
  • Strong understanding of security standards and frameworks:
  • OWASP Top 10, MASVS, CWE Top 25
  • Proficiency with security tools such as:
  • Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nmap, MobSF, Frida, etc.
  • Good understanding of backend and database security:
  • PHP, Python, , MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Strong reporting and communication skills
