Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan SQI Engineering Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in the .NET MVC framework to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring architectural integrity and alignment with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software architectures using .NET MVC and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead technical teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Define architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure solutions are compliant with security, performance, and scalability requirements.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and legacy systems as needed.
  • Document architectural decisions, system designs, and technical specifications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in an SSE/PSE role.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and Entity Framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server and database design principles.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, MCSD).
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Having worked as a Team Lead for a team
