Job Description: Arrant Construction is seeking an experienced Project Estimator - Constructions to join our dynamic team. This position is based in Bahria Town Karachi but will primarily focus on projects located in Texas, United States. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction estimation process, from initial estimates to project completion, ensuring precise budgetary control and timely delivery. A strong emphasis on project management, cost control, and attention to detail is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
  • Conduct thorough site evaluations and research project requirements, labor costs, materials, and other factors influencing project costs.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, personnel, and construction foremen to discuss estimates and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for all phases of construction, from conceptual to final bid submittal.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive and accurate quotes.
  • Utilize specialized software for estimating and project management (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the estimation process.
  • Present cost summaries and proposals to clients and management in a clear, professional manner.
  • Participate in project planning meetings to offer cost estimates and value engineering options, balancing quality with cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor and adjust estimates as project parameters change or evolve, ensuring budgetary compliance and adaptability.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project budgets and schedules, actively managing project timelines and financial resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, techniques, best practices, and local regulations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction estimating, project management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift) and the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, regulations, and cost-control practices.
  • Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
