JOB TITLE:

Data & Analytics Team Lead

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Data and Analytics Team Lead is responsible for leading the data analytics team to transform data into actionable insights that drive business strategies and improve operational efficiency. This role encompasses planning, directing, and coordinating the company's analytics strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, best practices, and governance frameworks. The Data and Analytics Team Lead will oversee data management, analysis, and reporting functions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. This role also involves ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of data while implementing advanced analytics techniques to address complex business challenges and ensuring accurate reporting in Management Information Systems (MIS). The Data and Analytics Team Lead will also managethe data quality analysts and business intelligence analyst.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Certifications in Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, data management, or business intelligence roles.

At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team management role within data analytics or data science.

Proven track record in developing and implementing analytics strategies that align with business objectives.
