About the Role

We are looking for a motivated
Junior DevOps Engineer

with a strong interest in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

and
AI/ML workflows

. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with
Vertex AI Platform

and
Vertex AI Search

, working alongside experienced cloud and AI professionals.

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will assist in managing cloud infrastructure, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and learning to deploy and optimize AI/ML solutions in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure

  • Assist in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

.
- Support the automation of
CI/CD pipelines

for application and model deployments.
- Help monitor and troubleshoot production systems.

AI/ML Engineering Support

  • Learn and support the deployment of ML workflows using
    Vertex AI Platform

and
Vertex AI Search

.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and data teams to operationalize ML models.
- Contribute to implementing
MLOps practices

for model management.

Security & Compliance

  • Follow established guidelines for
    security, compliance, and governance

.
- Assist in applying access controls and data protection measures.

Collaboration & Growth

  • Work closely with senior DevOps and AI/ML engineers.
  • Take part in knowledge-sharing, training, and mentorship sessions.
  • Stay updated on DevOps, cloud, and ML tools and practices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience

(internship or professional) in DevOps, Cloud, or related role.
- Basic knowledge of
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with
CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform

.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Must be available to work
onsite (5 PM – 2 AM)

in Karachi.

Preferred:

  • Google Cloud certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or higher).
  • Exposure to
    AI/ML workflows

or MLOps.
- Familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
