About the Role

We are looking for a
DevOps Engineer

with at least 1
year of practical experience

in managing deployments, automation, and Linux server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be skilled with
Linux based environments

,
CLI-based administration

, and
containerized application deployments

.

You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth CI/CD workflows, stable infrastructure, and efficient environment management across QA, UAT, and Production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, deploy, and maintain services across
    on-premise and private cloud environments
    .
  • Build and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
     using BitBucket Pipelines, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
  • Administer and optimize server environments including system setup, package management, services, permissions, and security hardening.
  • Implement
    infrastructure automation
     using Ansible, Bash scripting, or other tools.
  • Manage
    Docker-based environments
    , including image building, volume management, and network configurations.
  • Configure and manage
    reverse proxies
     (NGINX, HAProxy, or Traefik) and
    SSL/TLS certificates
    .
  • Set up
    system monitoring
    ,
    logging
    , and
    alerting
     using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or ELK stack.
  • Ensure
    system security
    ,
    user access control
    , and
    data backup/restore
     strategies.
  • Collaborate with developers to support application builds, releases, and rollbacks.
  • Perform
    incident analysis
    , troubleshoot environment issues, and optimize resource utilization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
     in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience
     in DevOps, Linux system administration, or infrastructure operations.
  • Good understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools.
  • Good understanding of
    Docker
     and containerized deployments.
  • Familiarity with
    CI/CD pipelines
     (BitBucket Pipelines, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of
    shell scripting (Bash, Python)
     for automation.
  • Experience with
    NGINX configuration
    ,
    reverse proxying
    , and
    SSL management
    .
  • Understanding of
    networking fundamentals
    , including DNS, firewalls, and routing.
  • Familiarity with
    monitoring and alerting systems
    .
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
