Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts utilizing SIEM and SOAR platforms.
  • Lead proactive threat hunting initiatives to detect and mitigate emerging threats.
  • Manage and coordinate the incident response lifecycle, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
  • Conduct digital forensic investigations to support incident analysis and determine root causes.
  • Oversee patch management processes and ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security solutions across the enterprise.
  • Perform system hardening and enforce security best practices in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards detailing security metrics, incident trends, and compliance status.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to continuously enhance SOC capabilities.

Competencies:

  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar)
  • Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms
  • Threat hunting and detection
  • Incident management and response
  • Digital forensics and investigation
  • Patch and vulnerability management
  • Endpoint protection and hardening
  • System security configuration and compliance
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, attack vectors, and incident response methodologies.
  • Professional certifications such as CEH, CHFI, Security+, or CISM are highly desirable.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience
