Position Objective:

To assist the Instructor in delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training in healthcare-related courses, ensuring students gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to succeed in the healthcare and allied services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Instructor in preparing and delivering lessons, demonstrations, and practical sessions in accordance with the approved curriculum.
  • Support in maintaining lesson plans, training materials, and student assessment records.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to students during practical exercises, simulations, and lab sessions.
  • Help ensure that teaching methods and materials meet THF's training standards and learning objectives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment in classrooms and laboratories.
  • Ensure all training equipment, models, and tools are properly handled, maintained, and reported if faulty.
  • Assist in setting up and preparing materials and equipment for practical classes.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional help in understanding theoretical or practical components.
  • Encourage discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior among students.
  • Assist in monitoring student attendance, participation, and performance.
  • Support the Instructor in maintaining accurate training documentation, attendance sheets, and progress reports.
  • Assist in conducting assessments, evaluations, and examinations under the Instructor's supervision.
  • Participate in workshops, meetings, and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Qualification: Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or Diploma in Healthcare/Medical Technology/Community Midwifery/Nursing or related field.
  • Preferred: BSCN
  • Experience: 1–2 years of teaching, training, or practical experience in healthcare or allied services.
  • Familiarity with healthcare tools, procedures, and basic first aid.
