As we continue to grow, we are looking for a meticulous and driven Accounts Officer to join our finance team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to manage our financial transactions and records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:

· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

· Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data.

· Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.

· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Manage invoice processing and ensure payments are made to vendors on time.

· Follow up on customer payments and manage the collections process.

· Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

· Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

· Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

· Assist with internal and external audit preparations.

· Maintain and update the fixed asset register.

· Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting systems and procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Proven work experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.

· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Office, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Strong organisational and time-management skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) or progress towards one is a plus.

· Prior experience with softwares is a plus.
