Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Information Technology, or equivalent degree is preferred.
Skill Set
Senior Test Automation Engineer should have working experience in:
- Proficient in one of the programming language like JavaScript, VB Script, C#, Python.
- Hands on automation experience in one of the automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Hands On with Automation frameworks. CICD experience will be added advantage
- Basic knowledge of databases and other related procedures
- Understanding of testing protocols
- Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
- Familiarity with the software development process
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to manage project deadlines
Key Responsibilities
Senior Test Automation should have following
:
- Get involved early in the STLC with their manual hat on as opposed to their automation hat.
- Test Scenarios preparation for test automation team
- Writing automation scripts according to the business requirements
- Troubleshooting of automation framework and fixation of issues.
- Maintenance of Object repository of SUT.
- Execution of Test Automation suits.
- Analyze test automation reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Collaborating with the dev team to solve application faults.
