About the Role:

Sortup is looking for a Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in the PERN Stack (PostgreSQL, , , ) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will lead development efforts, guide the engineering team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage end-to-end development using the PERN stack.

* Design scalable, maintainable, and efficient architecture.

* Collaborate with designers, developers, and product teams to deliver robust applications.

* Review code, provide technical mentorship, and enforce best practices.

* Manage deployments, performance optimization, and system integrations.

Requirements:

* 3+ years of professional/industry experience in the PERN Stack.

* Strong proficiency in (with Hooks, Context API, Redux).

* Solid backend experience with , , and PostgreSQL.

* Experience with REST APIs, Git, and modern DevOps practices.

* Leadership and mentoring experience will be a strong plus.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
