Job Overview
We are seeking a
ACCA or CA qualified (can be PQ as well) Bookkeeping Specialist
to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of experience, including strong hands-on expertise in full charge bookkeeping, US GAAP, and QuickBooks and Xero.
The selected candidate will manage the complete bookkeeping and accounting lifecycle for international clients. This includes overseeing accounts receivable/payable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements all while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism. A deep understanding of accounting principles, especially within a
U.S. GAAP framework, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Full Charge Bookkeeping
- End-to-end bookkeeping for multiple international clients
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with applicable standards (especially US GAAP)
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Oversee client invoicing, billing cycles, and collections
Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing of AP
Reconciliations
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank, credit card, and other general ledger accounts
Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly
Payroll Processing
- Administer payroll processes and reporting for clients
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and accurate compensation recording
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
Deliver insights and recommendations to clients for better financial decisions
Client Communication
- Act as the main financial point of contact for clients
Provide responsive, high-quality support and financial guidance
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Active qualification
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and international accounting standards
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills particularly in a client-facing environment
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Prior experience in a reputable accounting firm is highly preferred
- Strong command over cloud-based accounting platforms and tools
- Must have experience managing multiple clients' financials concurrently
- Demonstrated ability to work with U.S.-based clients and within U.S. accounting frameworks
