Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in
Lahore
. The
AML Analyst
will play a key role in ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer transactions to identify suspicious or unusual activity in line with AML/CFT regulations.
  • Conduct investigations and prepare
    Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs)
    and
    Cash Transaction Reports (CTRs)
    for onward submission to relevant authorities.
  • Assist in the implementation and periodic review of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform
    Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
    ,
    Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
    , and ongoing monitoring of high-risk customers.
  • Support audits and regulatory inspections by maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Conduct AML risk assessments and report findings to the Compliance Head.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Risk, and Business teams to ensure compliance across all customer and merchant onboarding activities.
  • Review alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems and escalate potential red flags.
  • Participate in AML/CFT awareness and training sessions for staff.
  • Stay updated with local and international AML regulations, FATF guidelines, and SBP directives.
  • Ensure data confidentiality and maintain ethical standards in all compliance-related operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of
    AML regulations
    ,
    Know Your Customer (KYC)
    ,
    Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
    , and
    Suspicious Transaction Reporting (STR)
    requirements.
  • Familiarity with
    FATF
    ,
    SBP
    , and
    FIA
    compliance guidelines.
  • Experience with STR filings and
    transaction monitoring systems
    , data analysis, and report preparation.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to detect and mitigate money laundering risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Finance

    Law
    , or a related field.
  • 1–3 years
    of relevant experience in AML, compliance, or financial risk management (experience in the fintech or EMI sector preferred).
