Job Title: Computer-to-Plate (CTP) Machine Operator

Reports to: Pre-Press Manager

Location: Lahore

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Computer-to-Plate (CTP) Machine Operator to join our pre-press team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CTP machine, ensuring high-quality plate production, and meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the CTP machine, including routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

  • Produce high-quality printing plates, ensuring accuracy, and consistency.

  • Load and unload plates, chemicals, and other supplies.

  • Monitor and control the CTP machine's parameters, such as exposure, development, and drying.

  • Perform quality control checks on plates, including visual inspections and plate measurements.

  • Collaborate with the pre-press team to ensure seamless plate production and delivery.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with new technologies and processes.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience operating a CTP machine, preferably in a printing or pre-press environment.

  • Strong knowledge of CTP machine operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Understanding of printing processes, including offset, flexo, and digital printing.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and priorities.

  • Excellent attention to detail, quality control, and problem-solving skills.

  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy plates, chemicals, and supplies.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in printing or a related field is an asset.
