We are seeking a skilled
WordPress Backend Developer
to join our growing team and help build, optimize, and maintain powerful backend systems for our websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
  • Modify and extend existing plugins and themes to add new features and enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize website performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and WordPress advancements to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress plugins, themes, and core functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Backend Developer with a focus on plugin and theme development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress architecture, APIs, and hooks.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into easy-to-understand language.
