Senior Backend Engineer - Requires 7+ years experience as a backend developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems that power our responsive web applications and APIs.
You must have 7+ years experience as a backend developer.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in , MySQL, RESTful APIs, and backend architecture, with a proven track record of building scalable, reliable, and high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs
  • Design and implement scalable backend services for new product features
  • Build reusable, modular, and maintainable backend components
  • Create efficient MySQL schemas and optimize complex queries
  • Troubleshoot, profile, and optimize server and database performance
  • Write clean, well-structured, and thoroughly tested code
  • Collaborate with the product team to define requirements and deliver solutions
  • Contribute to system architecture and technology design decisions

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of backend development experience
  • 4+ years with / JavaScript
  • Advanced MySQL expertise (schema design, query optimization)
  • Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration
  • Familiarity with server-side rendering frameworks and PDF generation
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Git workflows
  • Solid grasp of backend architecture and design patterns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data analytics and ETL
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, SAML)
  • Exposure to microservices or event-driven architecture

  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to manage deadlines effectively
