OMI Hospital is looking for a Senior Medical Officer (SMO) to oversee Medical Administration and hospital operations in the assigned shift. This job reports to the Director Medical Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day administration of clinical departments, wards, and emergency.
  • Develop and manage duty rosters of Medical Officers, Coordinators, Dieticians etc. provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Conduct regular rounds, ensure quality patient care, and manage clinical emergencies.
  • Oversee medical documentation, audits, and prepare reports/presentations for management.
  • Ensure infection control practices, safe disposal of biohazards, and compliance with COVID SOPs.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and ensure compliance with SHCC and ISO standards.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and share departmental KPIs with management.

Requirements:

  • MBBS with valid PMDC/PMC registration.
  • · 5–7 years of hospital/clinical experience (preferably in supervisory roles).
  • Willing to work in shifts.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and emergency management skills.
