Key Responsibilities

  • Design/analysis of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and skids

    ASME, API, TEMA
    codes
  • Mechanical calculations and design reports
  • Use of
    Codeware Compress, PVElite
    (plus AutoCAD/SolidWorks)
  • Coordination with fabrication and project teams
  • Technical support during proposals and execution

Qualifications & Skills

  • BSc/BE in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years
    relevant design experience
  • Hands-on with
    ASME Section VIII

  • Proficient in Codeware Compress, PVElite
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Role Overview

The Process Design Engineer will be responsible for process simulations, thermal design of heat exchangers, and development of process deliverables. The role requires strong technical expertise in simulation tools and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform
    process simulations
    using ASPEN/HYSYS.
  • Thermal design and rating of heat exchangers using
    HTRI and Aspen EDR
    .
  • Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and heat/material balances.
  • Prepare process datasheets for equipment, valves, and instruments.
  • Work on optimization studies for energy efficiency and process improvements.
  • Provide process inputs to mechanical and project teams during FEED and detailed design.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
    in process/thermal design.
  • Hands-on experience with
    HTRI, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen EDR
    .
  • Knowledge of
    heat exchanger design, distillation, separation, and utility systems
    .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
