Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze global trends in
    sock materials, knitting techniques, and comfort technologies

.
- Design and develop innovative sock concepts for categories such as:

  • Sports & Performance

(running, gym, yoga, pilates)
- Formal & Fashion

(men's, women's, business wear)
- Medical & Therapeutic

(diabetic, compression, orthopedic)
- Kids & Schoolwear

(durable, breathable, soft-textured)

  • Experiment with
    fiber blends, textures, and elasticity levels

to optimize comfort and durability.
- Create
colorways, design variations, and patterns

aligned with brand identity and seasonal trends.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to translate design concepts into production-ready prototypes.
- Develop
spec sheets and technical documentation

for each product line.
- Evaluate prototypes for fit, performance, and aesthetics — and iterate based on feedback.
- Work closely with the marketing team to highlight product features and innovation in campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Textile Design, Product Design, or Material Science

.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in
sock or hosiery product design and development

.
- Strong knowledge of
textile fibers, fabric construction, knitting/weaving techniques, and dyeing processes

.
- Ability to research and recommend materials for different uses — e.g., moisture-wicking for sports, compression for diabetics, breathable cotton for kids.
- Basic command on
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

CLO 3D / CAD design tools

for textile and pattern visualization.
- Strong eye for
color combinations, texture balance, and structural detailing

.
- Comfortable collaborating with
manufacturing teams and suppliers

to ensure production feasibility.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to
translate user needs into functional design solutions
