About the Role

We are looking for a
Junior Manual QA Engineer
to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. This role is ideal for someone who is
detail-oriented, proactive, and takes ownership of their work
.

As a Junior QA, you will primarily focus on
manual testing
, including executing test cases, documenting results, and reporting issues. You will work closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product managers to support smooth and high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute
    manual test cases
    across web and mobile applications.
  • Perform
    functional, regression, smoke, and UI testing
    .
  • Identify, document, and track issues with clarity and precision using tools like
    Jira, Trello, or similar
    .
  • Write and maintain
    test cases, checklists, and test documentation
    .
  • Re-test resolved issues and validate bug fixes before deployment.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA leads to reproduce and debug issues.
  • Contribute to release readiness by ensuring tasks are completed on time and with attention to detail.
  • Support API testing (basic understanding of tools like
    Postman
    is a plus).
  • Continuously learn QA best practices and improve testing quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
    .
  • 0–2 years of experience
    in manual QA (internship or junior-level experience acceptable).
  • Solid understanding of
    SDLC and STLC
    .
  • Familiarity with bug tracking/project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Click Up).
  • Basic knowledge of writing and executing test cases.
  • Strong
    communication skills
    and ability to work within a team.
  • Keen eye for detail and
    problem-solving mindset
    .
