Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

About the Role:

Solvefy is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer with approximately 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles, hands-on experience in manual testing, and basic familiarity with automation tools like Selenium and Postman. Key Responsibilities:

· Execute manual test cases and document test results

· Participate in requirements analysis and review sessions

· Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA

· Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues

· Conduct regression, integration, and system testing

· Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, test plans)

· Perform basic API testing using Postman

· Run and maintain simple automation scripts (preferably in Selenium)

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field

· 1 year of experience in a QA/testing role

· Strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals

· Hands-on experience in manual testing

· Familiarity with JIRA, Postman, and Selenium

Soft Skills:

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Good written and verbal communication

· Ability to work both independently and in a team

· Attention to detail and time management teams.
