Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled
Dispatch & Routing Specialist
to efficiently manage our truck dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning optimal routes, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring timely deliveries to meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign loads to drivers and coordinate daily schedules
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize costs
  • Monitor shipments and update clients on delivery status
  • Use load boards to secure freight and negotiate rates with brokers
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records, driver logs, and compliance documentation
  • Quickly address and resolve any delivery or operational issues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in truck dispatching or logistics preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with US trucking regulations and FMCSA guidelines is a plus
  • Proficiency with dispatch software, load boards, and GPS systems
