IT Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
IT Associate
to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide first-line technical support, ensure smooth operation of IT systems, and maintain the integrity and security of our network and assets. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining efficient IT operations in a fast-paced software development environment.

Responsibilities:

● Provide first-line support and respond to general IT inquiries from end users.

● Manage the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and closure of tickets in line with

defined SLAs.

● Ensure smooth operation of IT equipment, including computers, laptops, printers, and

related peripherals.

● Review, procure, and install approved hardware in accordance with company standards.

● Maintain and update the IT asset inventory accurately.

● Perform routine network startup, monitoring, and shutdown procedures as required.

● Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on laptops, desktops, and software installations.

● Demonstrate working knowledge of servers, switches, and routers.

● Safeguard company data, ensure secure network access, and manage backup systems.

● Support IT procurement activities by identifying requirements, engaging with vendors,

and obtaining quotes for IT equipment or services.

● Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the IT Manager.

Requirements:

● Responsible, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.

● Prior experience in the IT industry will be an advantage.

● Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments is preferred.

● Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

● Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or

Software Engineering.

Certifications:

• CCNA training/certification
  or a
  minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  is required.
