What we're looking for
As one of our first Senior Engineers, you'll have high ownership and massive growth potential. You'll work closely with the founding team, shaping both the product and the engineering culture.
You should have 3–4 years of full-time experience, ideally at a startup building real products for real customers. If you love solving problems and want to empower SMBs around the world, Jaldi is the place for you.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy new Jaldi features
- Work across the full stack, with a focus on backend and infrastructure
- Help set sprint priorities and engineering direction
- Improve internal tooling and automation (CI/CD, tests, deployments, data migrations, etc.)
Qualifications
Experience with Python, Postgres
3+ years f
rontend experience: ideally React, Angular, or similar modern JS frameworks (HTMX is a plus)Devops or IT infrastructure experience (Terraform, Pulumi, Kubernetes, Cloud …etc)
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github actions …etc)
Experience in automated testing (End-to-end testing, Unit Testing, Integration Testing)
3+ years of engineering experience with a proven record of delivering on time
Excellent communication skills - comfortable speaking in English
Organized and self-sufficient
Experience working with web and mobile applications
CS or engineering degree from a recognized university
Nice to haves
Experience with Django
Experience with HTMX, AlpineJS or similar frameworks
Experience with Flutter
Experience with GCP, an advanced certification would be a plus.
Previous experience working with a B2B software company, or at a high-growth startup
Previous experience working CRMs, business process improvement platforms, or something similar.
Experience with integrating Facebook, Websites, Google, etc. with applications or experience building Zapier integrations
