The Division:

TUNE makes the industry's most flexible SaaS platform for managing marketing partnerships across mobile and web. On one platform, you can maximize ROI from onboarding through payout with your most important partners — affiliates, networks, influencers, agencies, and any other business development relationships.

TUNE's Operations team manages TUNE's infrastructure in AWS and provides tooling to make the Software Development Lifecycle easy and enjoyable. Our systems are highly automated with Gitlab pipelines as the backbone of our build and release processes. Infrastructure management is automated too, it is hosted in AWS and we follow Infrastructure as Code patterns to manage it. Deployments are a mix of EC2-based and Kubernetes deployments.

We are looking for an experienced Devops Engineer who is looking for an opportunity to work on highly automated systems and help us in our efforts to provide reliable SDLC workflows to TUNE's engineering organization. We are a fully remote team with members in Seattle and multiple cities in Pakistan.

Objectives of this Role

• Operating and maintaining development tools, services and infrastructure

• Building and setting up new development tools, services and infrastructure

• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers

• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes

• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

• Identifying technical problems, performing software updates and implementing configuration changes

• Working with software development engineers to establish processes and procedures

• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

• Mentoring

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Manage CI/CD system

• Provide Level 2 technical support

• Participate in on-call rotation

• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience

• Perform root cause analysis for production errors

• Investigate and resolve technical issues

• Develop scripts to automate monitoring and visualization

• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Skills and Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

• Proficient with git and git workflows

• Good knowledge of Python or Go

• Working knowledge of container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)

• Problem-solving attitude

• Collaborative team spirit

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

• Experience with software engineering and customer experience

• Experience developing applications

• Experience leading teams of engineers
