We are seeking a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth deployment, scalability, and monitoring of applications in AWS.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform / CloudFormation.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure 99.9% uptime.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security & cost optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with AWS.
  • Strong skills in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Strong scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Shell).
  • Good understanding of networking & cloud security.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Previous part-time / freelance project experience.

Job Type

  • Part-Time (10–20 hrs/week)
  • Remote / Flexible hours

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate (based on experience).
